There is lots of good material on the Internet

I am increasingly interested in the phenomenon of ‘reels’ which are brief videos during which someone makes very profound points or shows interesting and amusing episodes e.g. a dog doing somersaults into a swimming pool.
They are well chosen by Facebook and can indeed become addictive. They also appear on X. I sometimes watch the reels for half an hour or so just for light relief.
Visiting friends
We left at 9.20 am this morning to see some friends on a cloudy day, very much cross country to a town this side of Bournemouth. Our first hiccup was when the road between Radstock and Frome was closed so we had to go around the houses thus adding time.
GPS is a strange beast, it will lead you along side roads in its quest for the shortest journey between A and B. It does not take into account your familiarity with the area and so we found ourselves wandering up hill and down dale, wandering which was North and which was South. At one point both our GPS is stopped receiving signal so we had to go back to old-fashioned maps find out where we might be.
Anyway, we arrived 20 minutes after the scheduled time to greet our friends. Francoise was kind enough to have made two quiches of various types and also a fresh fruit salad containing melon and ginger with some mint to add to taste.
We found our hosts had prepared a fresh salad with tomatoes, avocado pears, and meet dish commerce some hard boiled eggs, which together made a very good basis for us to offer the quiches.
I realize what a rare thing it is to meet with people who are on the same wavelength. It must be like meeting with those supporting the same football team because you are as one. With spiritual and Red Pill stuff because it takes place on many dimensions apart from the physical, it is all the more profound.
When you speak the same language and have the same mindset and the same drives there is a certain sublimity about the conversations that it is very difficult to define but it makes for a closeness and intimacy which is quite rare. Within this we have the luxury of being able to tease each other and make jokes without anyone taking offense.
Testing Otter.AI
I took the opportunity of testing my new plugin otter.ai It listens to speech, detects any difference between the speakers and calls them for example speakers one, two or three so even without naming the people you get a pretty good idea of how the conversation develops. It transcribes to text on the spot and you can export it or file it.
In addition to this, AI summarizes the topics conclusions where appropriate. This can then be downloaded to your computer thus saving a lot of time recording in the minutes of a meeting. Some people are afraid that AI will take away our individuality and make us less reliant on our brains.
Obviously any machine or device can take over if we let it but we do not have to. I use AI to rewrite a letter which contains strong points but I feel could be written in a more diplomatic way and AI is very good at doing this, if I want to use a word in advertising copy but I’m not quite happy about it, then AI will suggest alternatives. I use my brain to judge its output.
I also use AI if I’m stuck with how to use a plugin on my WordPress sites. It will talk me through and help you solve the problem and in most cases it is just a question of a few seconds work. It is much better than having to phone a friend and incidentally does not cost anything in advisory fees.
