I love ‘feel good’ quotes like this

Reading Time: 2 minutes

When the right soul walks into your life, it feels different.
It’s not just romance; it’s a shift.
They don’t create drama; they bring peace.
They don’t dwell on your past;
they honour the strength you built from it.
Their presence pushes you to heal, to rise, and to grow
into the version of yourself you’ve always been capable of becoming.
It’s not simply a relationship.
It’s a partnership in transformation.

Today it is a fairly miserable day, raining and cold. I do feel for those who got a considerable burden, whether it’s financial, difficulty with their partner or friend, or bad health. I do not feel sorry for our prime minister, who has shown himself to be a weak person obviously following the New World Order until he has to do a U-turn under pressure. I hope his decision about someone who associated with Jeffrey Epstein will finally teach him a lesson.

I’m about to embark on my next self-published book, Life in Torquay. In two weeks’ time I’m going on my first visit. I will interview anyone and everyone to get their views on Torquay, or Torbay, as the area is known. I have been calling up various people to arrange interviews and so on, and it is most remarkable how people give themselves away through the tone of their voice. Especially stress comes across, and people don’t realise it.

When I make a joke and people don’t respond, that is a sign of stress. I have invited people to a local gathering on Thursday 19th of February at 2:30 just to see where the wind blows and who’s thinking what and who wants to do what. the lady at Saint Matthias Church has been very flexible and has pencilled the event for me, so she has given me until Monday the 16th to decide whether I want to use the meeting room or whether I want to cancel the booking. If I want to use it, I have to fill in a form and pay £29. I have advertised in local Facebook groups, Nextdoor, and Eventbrite.

You can find details on the page (not the post) on this website entitled ‘Torquay’. I have no idea what is going to happen, and I have not invested emotionally in it, just strategically, so if nothing happens, that’s the way it’s meant to be, and if something happens, that’s also the way it’s meant to be.

I sent this to a friend of mine who had recently lost her husband. I wish I had seen it years ago but having said that maybe I was not ready. This is for anyone who has lost someone close to them.
