Up quite a mysterious and misty hill where our hosts for the weekend come regularly and pray and beam peace to the world. Weather at the top can vary from still fog (as it was today) and a raging tempest, which will blow you off your feet.

North Cornwall has a different feel to the more populated south, maybe because it is more remote and less likely to attract crowds. The nearest equivalent to Combe Martin, where we are staying, is Totnes, a larger and more populated town where the New Age mentality definitely prevails.
