Clutton Garden Show – a pictorial tour

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Same as last year but many more people due to the clement weather, if slightly windy. So the deal was £4 to get in for adults. There was a very good cake tent but by the time we arrived just after 2:00 p.m., the show having opened at midday, there was very little food left. The bars were doing well.

Dog shows and competitions featured strongly as did traditional dancing. My impression was that everybody local turned out, particularly families, and they enjoyed themselves. We left after about an hour because there wasn’t that much of interest, and frankly we’d seen it all before last year. Also I was still reeling from our recent holiday about which I have written, see previous entries

a very strange game for children a combination of golf and croquet

an abundance of healthy plants from the local gardening club

my prize for the best pun in the name of a stall

OK OK we get the message its a big car.

The same choir that I wrote about last Sunday

the stink from this grill spreads for miles. Who would want to east such food.

A judge deciding the prizes for dogs

someone knows their onions

6 runner beans and they must all be the same size

3 of a kind and the same size they must be
